Teal Deniece Erwin

The most painful day of my life was the last day of yours..... Teal Deniece Erwin, 68, passed away at her home on March 13, 2026 in Blaine MN from a long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving husband Bob, family, faithful animals and loyal friends. She was born on August 29, 1957, in Winona MN to Harris and Joyce (Harkness) Olson. She graduated from Byron High School and attended Rochester Community College. She married John in 1977, had two children, Trinity and Brandon, later divorced. She met the love of her life Bob Erwin and married September 4, 2004. They renewed their vows on December 30, 2015. Spending their time together you could find them boating on the Mississippi River and riding their Harley. She enjoyed gardening, making crafts, baking for the holidays and making Lefsa for many people, even giving it to complete strangers. Family was important to Teal and she deeply loved her children and grandchildren, making birthdays and holidays extra special. She enjoyed Christian music and loved all her animals passionately. They were members of High Point Church in Rochester, renewed their faith and re-baptized. They moved to Port Charlotte, Florida in 2016 and moved back to Minnesota in 2018 to be back with family. She was later diagnosed with cancer. Teal was Medical Records Director for The Villa's at St Louis Park. She was a dedicated employee and worked until her body told her she couldn't. She found beauty in every corner of her life. Each day was a blessing to her, expressing love, gratitude and encouragement to others. She established Monarch Cancer Committee to support others and was loyal to all who leaned on her and impacted many individuals on her journey. She fought her disease with extreme courage and determination right up until God called her home. She was preceded in death by her father Harris Olson. She is survived by her mother, Joyce Olson, her loving husband Bob Erwin; their children Trinity & (Kane) Drugg, Brandon Driscoll, Matt Erwin (Diana), Megan Erwin (Matt), ten grandchildren (Kyron, Rush, Kayleen, Payton, Maycie, Parker, Talon, Teigan, Rose and Oliver), her sisters, Dawn (Tim) Nemechek, Lynn (Ken) Mohlke, Missy (John) Woodward, her brother Erik (Jean) Olson, many nieces, nephews, cousins and her dear friend Nickii Petrizzo. A private family service/memorial will be held on Saturday, April 4th from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. There will be a celebration of life following, from 2PM to 5PM at Charlie's Eatery and Pub 1654 US HWY 52 Rochester. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the family.
