To us Taylor will always be our "sweet boy". But our son was a man who was smart, intuitive, fun-loving and affectionate. His laugh was infectious and music to our ears. He loved doing things as a family especially when our extended family came to gather at the holidays. Our dog Stella was his snuggle buddy and he swore she knew if he was feeling down because she would seek him out and stay by his side. He had strong opinions about current events, sports and politics and was ready for a good discussion. Taylor graduated from Roseville High School and University of St. Thomas. He was a loyal friend. He loved baseball and was a good player. But most of all he loved being with his friends and teammates. Taylor was also an avid gamer and played with friends across town and all over the world. He had a disease that took his life on Friday, October 29, 2021. His Dad and Mom were by his side. Taylor is survived by his parents, David "Butch" and Pam; aunts and uncles, Barb Miller, Gail (Wayne) Loland, Nancy (Mark) Lerner, Lynn (Donna) Femrite, Denny Philiph; great-aunt, Bonnie Lonneman; cousins, Terri, Rusty, Scott, Brad, Joy, Jenna, Zach, Amy and Carisa; and many friends. Preceded in death by his infant brother, Luke David; grandparents, Lyle and Dar Philiph and Maurie and Fran Femrite; cousin Alexis Lerner; aunt, Sandy (Torch) Hocum. Taylor has left us all with memories to last a lifetime, but also left a hole in our hearts impossible to fill. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 19 beginning at 10AM at Holcomb-Henry-Boom Purcell Funeral Home, 515 Highway 96 West, Shoreview. At 10:30AM we welcome you to share stories and memories about Taylor. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00AM. Remember Me Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles, I've only gone to rest a little while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not as I am now, but as I used to be. Because, I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand in your hearts, I've only gone to rest a little while. As long as I have the love of each of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.
