Tamarah Elizabeth Anderson

Tamarah Elizabeth Anderson, age 65 of Shoreview MN, ran into the arms of Jesus, December 29, 2023. Born to B. Eugene and JoAnne Gough in Denver, Co., Tammy graduated from Winona MN Senior High School in 1976. Tammy went on to study at Winona State University. Tammy began working as a law assistant in Winona and went on to work in the legal department at Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN. Tammy moved to Edina MN where she proceeded to work at Messerli and Kramer Law Firm and at Kissoon Law Firm. She then moved to National Car Rental where she worked as the administrative assistant to the CEO. During this time Tammy proceeded to find the love of her life, Timothy Anderson at her parent's church, First Evangelical Free Church of Minneapolis where Tim was the Worship Pastor. They married June 30, 1990. Their daughter Britta was born in December of 1993 and their son JonEdward in March of 1995. Tammy battled and successfully triumphed her breast cancer diagnosis one year after their son was born. In 2000, Tammy began working with Tim at Meadow Creek Church of Andover MN as administrative assistant and continued working there until her passing in December of 2023. Tammy loved her family more than anything in the world. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with all her heart and was always there to share a verse that she had been dwelling on that week or offered to pray for even the smallest of things. She loved spending time with her children. She loved being "Grammy" to her grandchildren. Tammy loved her sweetheart Tim immensely and living life together. Together they were caregivers to both Tammy's mom and Tim's mom until each of their moms passed. She loved family travel, road trips to Grand Marais, and going on drives and walks with Tim. She also loved drinking coffee, watching Hallmark movies and finding fun places to eat. She loved watching sports and rooting on her team the Vikings. Tammy never stopped singing and sang in the church choir and on worship team. Tammy made the most of every moment that she had on this earth and never complained. After her short, fierce and courageous battle with cancer in 2023, Tammy's life came to an abrupt end with her loved ones surrounding her. Tamarah was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and JoAnne Gough. She is survived by her husband Timothy Anderson, children Britta (Steven) Bruno and JonEdward Anderson and her beloved grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Deborah (Pat) Gilliam of Greeley CO, Linda Flood of Madison WI, and Jackie (Mike) Bailor of Columbus OH; and their families. A Celebration of life service for Tamarah will be held on Saturday, January 20th. There will be a visitation at 10:00am and service at 11:00am at Constance Free Church, 16150 Crosstown Blvd NW, Andover, MN.
