Susan A. Jepson

Susan A. Jepson 85, born on July 24, 1940 in Edina, Minnesota, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 28, 2026 peacefully. Susan, also known as Susie, Nana or Susie Q is survived by Daughter Nancy Michelena (Louis) and Debbie Bolander (Brian). Grandchildren Brandon Michelena, Ashley (Daxton) Tonn, Annalee (Zachary Ellman), and Lauren Bolander and Great Grandson Walker Tonn. She is survived by sister Betsy Andrews from Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents Gregg and Berniece Andrews and her brother Gregg Sexton Andrews and her sister Polly Angeli and Great Grandson Everett Tonn. Susie grew up in the Edina Morningside area and graduated from Edina High School in Edina, MN in 1958. Susie went to an all Girls College In Virginia. She loved modeling for the Department Store Young Quinlan's in downtown Minneapolis. Susie met her lifetime sweetheart, Bob, while out in Tucson, AZ. They married in Kansas City, MO on April 5, 1964. After marriage, they relocated to Edina, MN where they raised their family with daughters Nancy and Debbie in the Parkwood Knolls Neighborhood. Susie was a Homemaker so she enjoyed being able to volunteer for different groups. Susie did volunteer work for Children's Hospital and the Jiminy Cricket League. She would volunteer at Highlands Elementary and also Edina High School selling Theatre tickets. Her hobbies included Needlepointing, bowling and boating and golfing. She was on a Women's Golf league at Hyland Hills in Bloomington, MN. She loved to get together with neighbors and friends and play cards. They often played Bridge with different friends. She loved helping coordinate the Parkwood Knolls Christmas Bonfire. Bob started his own company in the 1980's and so he was able to work and could travel with his family. They were snowbirds, spending their winters in Naples, FL., and loved living by the water. The Naples Pier, beaches and 3rd Avenue South were some of her favorite areas. She loved having her nails and hair done, and they opened a Salon, Southern Exposure, on 5th Avenue South while they lived in Naples, FL. They loved to travel together, taking many cruises and covering many beaches. She liked going to Paradise Island, Bahamas and gambling for the weekend and was quite successful so we named her Lucky Lil. They were members of Interlachen Country Club for 50 years. When their first and only Grandson was born in Arizona in 1997, they sold their MN. and FL. Homes and moved to Scottsdale, AZ and lived on a lake with an electric boat named Sizzlin' Sue. They also purchased a summer home up at Izatys Resort in Onamia, MN, which had a beautiful view of Lake Mille Lacs. They had wonderful memories from up north. Susie loved getting together with family and friends and traveling and enjoyed a good dinner out. They joined the Arizona Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ and were members for many years. She liked going to Reno and had her favorite slot machine. The last few years she lived at Clearwater Agritopia and made many new friends. She is loved and will be dearly missed.
