Sandra Marie DeBilzan

Surrounded by her loving family, Sandra Marie DeBilzan (née Seifert) passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, September 14th, 2022, at the age of 62. Survived by her son, Brandon Carmany, her daughter, Marissa Compton- husband Andrew; her son, Richard (Jacqueline), her daughter, Brianna (Anthony), and her daughter, Abigail. Sisters; Sunny Ackert, Darlene Trnka, Patty Buchholz- husband John; Linda Smith-husband Antonio; Nancy Seifert- husband Bill; Theresa Seifert. Grandchildren; Aaliyah, Brooklyn, Deanna, Demetri, Isabella, Lucy, Rowann, Jasmine, Malakai, Anthony II; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Lawrence & Alice Seifert; her brother, Richard Seifert; her great niece, Shailynn Kiser, and her nephew Andrew Busch. Sandy was an Eagan, Minnesota native and attended Burnsville High School. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, and dear friend to many. Sandy loved to talk to strangers - wanting to learn their names and hear about their lives and then brag about her children and grandchildren. Wherever she went, Sandy brought joy, and she passed it on to those lucky enough to cross her path. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She cherished her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Grandma Sandy. She treasured her summers & winters fishing on the lake and took a special Interest in raising them in her aquariums at home. She enjoyed listening to John Sanford audiobooks, piecing together large puzzles, and cooking those delicious homemade dinner and desserts for her family. Sandy was a giving, caring and selfless soul. Her warm demeanor was infectious. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made new friends everywhere she went. Sandy's children wish to send a special thank you to their amazing aunties (Sandy's sisters) for all their guidance, support, care and compassion for their mother and them. We love you all so dearly and we are so blessed to have such incredible women is our lives. We will always & forever be grateful. Family & friends are invited to her Celebration of Life at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 5000 West 50th &, MN-100, Edina, MN 55436 on Friday, September 30, 2022. Visitation at 1:30pm with service at 2:30pm.
