Stinski, Roland A. "Rollie" "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servant" Psalm 116:15. Our world is missing an angel. Rollie (Rol) Stinski was taken from this earth unexpectedly to join his Lord and Savior March 4, 2015. He was a most precious gift and blessing from God. A great void has been left in many lives. Rollie was born January 18, 1928 in Hill City, Minnesota to his loving mother Hazel May and father Benjamin John Stinski. He was married to the love of his life Cheryl Stinski and lived everyday thereafter with the knowledge that he was truly loved and cherished. He attended Minneapolis Public Schools until joining the US Navy. He is a Veteran of the U.S. Naval Air Force, U.S. Navy, from which he was honorably discharged in 1948. He delighted in his time spent in the service of our country. Rollie continued his education at Lasalle University. Rollie was truly one of the great and good people in the world. He exemplified the epitome of a grand noble gentleman. He was 'class' personified, with an elegance that was admirable! His strength of body and mind were immeasurable in scope. He was the 'go to guy,' the 'just do it guy' and the 'get it done guy!' His whole life was committed to working hard; he was a generous and selfless giver of his time and energy to all of those around him. He was amazing, adventurous and well loved by all who knew him well. His chosen profession of real estate developer was characterized by a markedly superior positive character, ethical and moral excellence, goodness, honor, honesty, integrity, decency and humility. His professional real estate career began in 1955 with the Marvin Realty Co. selling new single-family homes. As a young, ambitious and talented individual he opted for a career change in 1958, joining Spring Realty Co. The company was a very aggressive and dynamic brokerage firm whose focus specialized in all phases of real estate. His promotion to Branch Manager afforded a tremendous opportunity to develop skills that prepared him for the future. At age 33 Rollie left Spring Co. to form a partnership with R.A. White and W.C. Keefer, known as Skyline Builders, Inc. located on Central Avenue NE. Presently, Skyline Builders, Inc. Offices at 3647 McKinley Street NE, a multi-unit complex developed by Skyline. Health care became a focus in the middle 1960's and early 1970's and Skyline became one of the largest nursing home firms in the metro area with developing 700 plus beds, employing 600 people. With the death of R.A. White in 1971, Mr. Keefer and Mr. Stinski remained partners until Mr. Keefer's retirement in 1989. Rollie was preceded in death by his mother Hazel May and father Benjamin John Stinski. Mother-in-law: Margery and father-in law Robert Fehling. Sister: Irene Overby. Brothers: Bernard (Bernie) Stinski, John Stinski, Donald Stinski, Douglas Stinski, Richard Stinski. Brother-in-law: Robert (Roby) Fehling. Rollie is survived by his loving wife Cheryl Stinski. Daughter: Kimberly Nybo (John Arens) Sons: David Stinski, Daniel Stinski, Donn Stinski. Siblings: Sister Marion Dukatz, brother Michael Stinski (Edna). Brother-in-law James Fehling. Grandchildren: Shane Lyke, Cassaundra Lyke, Kaleigh Nybo, Dillon Arens, Jesse M. Stinski, Jesse T. Stinski, Taylor Stinski. Great granddaughter: Kayla. Nieces: Mary, Carol, Cecelia (Cece), Lois, Betty, Marilyn, Carilyn, Sharon, Nancy, Carol, Lynn, Shelly. Nephews: Curtis, Ronald, Ricky, Steve (Stevie), Doug Jr., Bobby, Billie, Michael Patrick & Michael Anthony, Blake & Grant. And many grand nieces and nephews. And his beloved dog Gracie Mae ' Little Squirt,' Partner & confidant: Patrick Fischer, Executive Assistant: Jan Boylan. And many wonderful and beloved in-laws, close friends and business associates. We were so blessed to be part of his life. Please join us in the Celebration of Rollie's Life in a gathering of family and friends Wednesday, March 25, 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Washburn-McReavy, Northeast Chapel-2901 Johnson St. NE-Mpls, MN 55418. Memorial Service Thursday, March 26, 2 pm at Eaglebrook Church, Blaine Campus, 3603 95th Ave. NE, Blaine, MN 55014. Interment following Service, Sunset Memorial Cemetery, 3:30 pm. We will see you again one day. Until then, you will live on in our hearts and memories and you will never ever be forgotten.
