Rene Buenafe Lozada

Rene Lozada Resident of Hugo, MN Rene joined our creator on November 6, 2017 in Saint Paul, Minnesota at the age of 65. He was surrounded by family and loved ones. Rene was born on May 16, 1952 in Iloilo City, Philippines to his parents, Vicente Buenafe and Adelaida Prado. He owned a small business in the Philippines, which he gave up when he moved to the US in 2011. He then worked in food service for Optage Senior Dining. The fun times he had with his co-workers fueled him to go to work. He did not mind the job to be done, what was important to him was at his workplace he had friends whom he loved and cared for dearly. He was blessed with friends whom treated him as a father and showered him with lots of hugs and kisses because of his humility and caring nature. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Lozada; his daughters, Myrene Lozada, Reneellen (Reyman) De Los Santos; his son, Raynelle Lozada; and grandchildren, Patrick and Pia De Los Santos."A husband whose love will stay with me forever"....Ellen"God saw you were getting tired. A cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you, and whispered "come with me." With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you fade away. Although we loved you so dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, your tender hands at rest, God took you home to prove to us, He knows what's the best."....Myrene"I listened and learned from your silence Papa. Those lessons spoke straight into my heart. I love you Papa"....Pia A visitation will be held on Friday, November 17 from 2 PM-7 PM, prayer services will be offered by Father Vic Valencia and Pastor Louie Santelices at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM-PURCELL FUNERAL HOME, 515 Highway 96 W., Shoreview. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mr. Lozada's life.
