Peter James Fiore

Peter James Fiore, age 31, of Minnetonka died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 18th. We’re going to quote something about family that Pete wrote about his cousin, because his words are true today about his own life. In 2013 Pete wrote: “There is nothing thicker than blood, and family was of the greatest importance to him. He was truly good.” As his cousin did, Pete lived his life with his focus on family and a conscious effort to be good to all he met. Pete was passionate about so many things. He loved his family fiercely. He adored his sister Stephanie, and respected and had great love for his Grandpa. He returned the steadfast devotion of his friends, talked of them often and felt like a lucky man. Pete was loyal, ever kind, always ready to listen and lend a hand. Pete had a very special bond with his rescue dog, Ivy. Their relationship was magic - it was very apparent that their personalities meshed and grew more tightly together over the years. Hiking through National Parks in the southwest was Pete’s passion. He loved challenging hikes, the beauty of nature and sharing amazing outdoor experiences with friends and family. He and his sister, Stephanie, would always blaze the trail and be the first to discover the adventures that were around the next bend or at the top of the mountain. Pete had an amazing pursuit for knowledge, and loved politics, world events, movies, and books – especially anything written by Stephen King. Pete was a talented carpenter(thank you Dale), completing his degree at Red Rock University in Denver. A skilled artist and gardener, Pete channeled his energy into creating works of love and life. Preceded in death by brother Ryan, sister Theresa, grandparents Birdene Boline, Lucian Fiore, Kathryn Fiore and cousin Kyle Boline. We will hold a celebration of Pete’s spirit next summer, post Covid19. We hope you will join us then, and think of him often now.
