Paul Lemieux

Lemieux, Paul V. of Andover, MN, age 57 died on May 21, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan (nee Fournier) of 27 years; his sweet little dog, Dee Dee; and his children and grandchildren: much loved daughter, Lindsey Parr (Greg Fuchs) of Eden Valley, MN, grandchildren Clarissa and Lyman; son and fishing partner, Bill Parr (Kristin) of Blaine, MN; and mother, Phyllis Miller (Chuck). Paul is preceded in death by his father John Edward Lemieux and stepmother Audrey L. Lemieux of Crosslake, MN, mother-in-law Lucille Fournier, brother-in-law Cliff Fournier, uncles James T. Lemieux, Richard Lemieux, Harry Andresen, aunts Mary Paul (Robert), Lois Lemieux, Audrey Lemieux, and Audrey Andresen. Cherished by his brothers, Charles Lemieux & wife Margaret of Maple Grove, MN, Michael Lemieux & wife Rose of Coon Rapids, MN; loved by his sisters, Nancy Graves-Mayer & husband Jonas Mayer of Maple Grove, MN, Shawn Lemieux of Otsego, MN, Patti Toensing (Dave) of Ohio, Pamela Huhtala ( Jim) of Clearwater, MN; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Crandall and son Kyle and Barbara Fournier; and brother-in-law, Ken Marth (Mary) of Brooklyn Park. Paul will be deeply missed by aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces, and his cousins who always looked forward to being with him. He will be remembered fondly by all his friends in the local music scene, Muskie's Inc., Twin Cities Chapter, Union Local 1B and all his lifelong fishing companions. Paul was a dear lifelong friend to many people especially, Raymond (Brenda) Peterson of Brooklyn Park, MN, Terry Gareis of Zimmerman, MN, Al Wadke of Mankato, MN and Richard Horner of Mille Lacs, MN. Paul was born September 17, 1951 and grew up in Crystal, MN in the 60's where he began his love of music and guitars. Paul graduated from Robbinsdale Cooper High in 1970 and joined the Army that same year where Paul became part of the honored 82nd Air Born Division. Paul had many interest and talents, but spending time with his wife, family, friends and fishing being most important. Paul's love for the Beatles and their music was a lifelong passion. Paul will always be remembered for his sense of humor, quick smile, and enduring love of his wife Sue, his family and his friends. Visitation Wednesday, May 27 from 4-8 PM.
