Patricia Ann Corbett

Patricia Ann Corbett (Patt Corbett, Patricia Lind) Patt was born in Evanston, Illinois at St. Francis Hospital on Tuesday, November 13, 1951. She peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 27th, 2020, in Minnetonka, Minnesota. Patt was a dedicated employee at Michael’s in her final days. She was a loving bird-mom to her cockatiels Merlin and Gweny. She was a creative freelance artist and spiritual guru to many. She was a loving mom to her children and grandchildren. Patt’s interests included nature walks, gardening, painting, photography and bird watching. Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Margaret (Fritz) Lind, her sister Margaret Lind, and her brother Harry Lind. Patt is survived by her former spouse, John Craig Corbett, 2 children: Michael Corbett (Marie), Brian Corbett (Anna), and 7 grandchildren (Isabelle, Grace, Drew, Evelyn, Noah, Isla, Olivia). She will be greatly missed by her surviving siblings and their families: Mark Lind Pete Lind Mary Jo Buttstadt Frank Lind Karen Benway Rick Lind Robert Lind Patt went to Forest View High School in Illinois. She went on to win numerous art scholarships and continued her enthusiasm for learning art at the Art Institute of Chicago. She was most distinctively known for her free spirit, bohemian style, playful sense of humor, bird expertise, love of nature, and road trip adventures. She especially loved fall time festivities and enjoyed being in the good company of friends. Patt moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1973 where she lived with her former husband (John Craig Corbett) and had her two boys, Michael and Brian. She most notably worked her artistry and creative skills with D-56 company, Route 29, Car Soup, and other free-lance ventures in her spare time. Patt enjoyed taking part in other activities: volunteering with the rapture center, network groups and creative groups. Patt will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She will be deeply missed by her laugh, her zest for the arts, her healing conversations, her listening ear. Her creative mark on this world will be sadly missed by her dedication to her birds, co-workers, friends and family. As many of us now echo these words and sentiments, simply put, “We Miss You and We Love You Patt!” We will forever honor her memory. May she rest in Peace.
