In Loving Memory of Otis Chapple Jr. February 15, 1973 - June 7, 2025 On Saturday, June 7th, 2025, Otis Chapple Jr. passed away in the hospital after courageously battling numerous health complications. He was 52 years old. O was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend. Otis left a profound mark on every life he touched. Born and raised in Minnesota, Otis was known for his adventurous spirit, infectious energy, and boundless love for his community. Whether he was gliding across a skating rink, relaxing by the beach, or planning his next trip, Otis was never one to stay still. His love for travel, community events, and connection with others made him a cherished presence wherever he went. Otis had a special heart for children and youth. A kid at heart himself, he poured his energy into uplifting the younger generation, working in schools and the community to encourage growth, resilience, and self-worth. He became a father figure to many, offering wisdom, laughter, and unwavering support-even when the blood didn't match, the bond did. He lived with a deep sense of purpose and family. Otis was driven by love for his own children and grandchildren, but his reach extended far beyond his home. He believed in the strength of community and lived to serve and uplift those around him. He will be remembered as someone who gave endlessly, laughed loudly, and loved deeply. He is survived by his father, Otis Sr.; his children, Desean, Ashley, Anthony, Arianna, Kieley, and Dehvin; his siblings, Michael, Gina, Sadrina, and Steven; and his five beautiful grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless others who were blessed to call him family. Otis is preceded in death by his mother, Eva; his grandparents, Lloyd, Faye, Lillian and Edward; and his brother Jason. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit remains deeply rooted in the hearts of all who knew him. Otis was, and will always be, a friend to many, enemy to none.
