Molly Ann Miller

Molly Ann Miller was born on December 4, 1983, to Richard and Cheryl Miller. Molly was welcomed into the family as the one and only child of her parents. Even as a very young child, Molly was striking. It wasn't just the family who thought so... She actually did modeling before she could even walk! Growing up in Bloomington, Molly enjoyed being the center of attention, especially to her mom and dad. She attended Minnehaha Academy and Kennedy High School. Molly gave her heart to Jesus at a young age and, at 11, professed her faith publicly through baptism by immersion at First Free Church in Minneapolis. She tried her hand at basketball and choir, but mostly just loved to be social. Molly, by her own dad's admission, was sometimes a challenge to parent- strong-willed, a mind of her own, a bit sassy, beautiful and she knew it. It was said that girls never brought their boyfriends near her in fear of losing them to Molly! Molly became a mother at a very young age, giving birth to her first-born son, Brandon, just two months after turning 16. He was the light of her life and, to this day, brings much joy to the family. Molly was able to receive funding for childcare for Brandon as she pursued her high school diploma. After graduating high school, Molly took courses at Crown College and excelled. She was a bright young woman. Molly and Dustin Qualley were married on April 3, 2009. They welcomed three beautiful children to their family: Brian, Grayce, and Jaxson. Molly loved babies and wanted desperately to be a good mom and, in the same moment, her struggle with addiction was real. Molly attended Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge for treatment multiple times. The program certainly helped her along in her journey. Molly loved connections with people, especially her extended family. She made an effort to attend family functions and always brought energy, love and a bright smile. Molly's life was a gift and we will miss her greatly! Molly is preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Miller, in October of 2015. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Washburn McReavy's Eden Prairie location (7625 Mitchell Road, Eden Prairie) on Wednesday, January 3, at 11am.
