Michael Livingston was a wonderful loving husband to Susan Jean Livingston, and an outstanding generous father to Karri Jean Livingston... He was open minded, creative, hardworking, and successful with an unstoppable imagination and appetite for life... He always lead by example by being a showing the world what a great man, husband, and father should be like to his wife, daughter and family. He was supportive, fun, and he did anything he could to help the ones he loved and cared about. He was a Realtor for 30 years, and he never stopped believing in his dreams and the dreams of his family. His love for The Beatles and Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Janis Joplin and Creedence Clear Water Revival, Led Zeppelin, and countless other timeless classics never stopped buzzing through the home and into the lives of Karri's friends- who still talk about his great taste in music to this day... Smooth jazz was always playing in the car, the Twins or the Vikings were always on TV. He kept close childhood friends for his entire life. He drove Karri to and from school, gave her and her friends a safe home to hang out in, a cabin for adventures and exploring, and always came to get the rescue in the middle of the night when homesickness at friends houses was something his daughter was going through. He was literally always there for us. He will always be talked about and remembered as a favorite person to so many beautiful people, and he left a positive impact on all who crossed his path. He was a Legend, a hero and pure magic to his daughter. To Susan, he was the love of her life. To his family and friends, he was the best, and the life of the party. His interesting life story is a novel waiting to be written. To say he was the best thing that ever happened to countless individuals is a complete understatement. When he dropped Karri off at College, he let her go. When it was his time to go, it was suitable that he was at the University of Minnesota ICU, on campus, on freshmen move in weekend. That's when we had to let him go. It all comes full circle, and we are so very proud of his life work, and he was even more proud of ours. He just wanted all of us to be happy. His motto was "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans" and "give peace a chance" - both beautifully said by John Lennon. Michael's energy is always going to be improving this world, and his memory will live on for generations to come. We love you Michael J Livingston, and we know you'll always be with us. Thank you for sharing so many wonderful memories with us, and thank you for being such a huge part of our lives. We will miss you dearly, but we know we'll meet again someday.
