Meina Louie, age 67 of Forest Lake / Minneapolis, Minnesota. Passed away peacefully on Sunday April 24th, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in China where she met her loving husband Bing. As a young woman she journeyed to Minnesota to pursue a better future, side by side with her husband. She was an incredible woman of strength and resilience who worked hard her entire life. From a young age she worked tirelessly in the restaurant industry. While starting and building a family restaurant, she also worked to reunite her family in the United States. Throughout her life, Meina was a compassionate and selfless woman who took care of her family. From taking primary responsibility for her mother and raising her son to be the man he is today, Meina was known to put her family above all else, including herself. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and her love for them was unparalleled. She had a strong will and even stronger heart. She valued family, health, and character above all else. Her life had a strong correlation between food and happiness, if you had her food, you would know the kind of love she put in to making quality, wholesome, and healthy food that not only fed your belly but also your soul. Meina was preceded by her parents and parent in-laws.
