Mary E. Quinn Ross

Mary Elizabeth Quinn Ross, age 70, returned home to her Lord and Savior on July 24, 2024, after a life full of love and dedication to her family. She was a St. Paul, Minnesota native who later relocated to Lincoln, Nebraska where she raised her four children in a home where family meant everything. Never someone to complain or ask for much, she devoted her life to supporting others and going above and beyond for everyone around her. While raising her children, she also proudly worked many years in home healthcare administration. True to form, she cared greatly about her clients and their well-being, finding satisfaction in helping others. Through strong faith, perseverance, and selflessness, Mary found joy in everything she did despite whatever life threw her way, including her battle with cancer. She faced her diagnosis with unwavering courage, always staying positive and believing in God's plan. She was a constant source of strength and wisdom for family and friends alike, always willing to listen and provide advice or a message of hope. To know her, truly was to love her. She was the heart and soul of her children and grandchildren. In her ability to think and feel beyond herself in every way, she cultivated a special relationship with each family member. She is survived by her children, Denny (Sara), Michelle (David), Kevin (Alex), Melissa (James); twelve grandchildren, Maggie, Matthew, Nora, Kate, Daphne, Charlotte, Olivia, Bianca, Monroe, Henry, Arthor, and Connell; siblings, Patricia, John (Sam), Donna, and sister-in-law, Diane as well as many nieces and nephews. She is welcomed in heaven by her mother and father, Ann and George; husband, Ron; brothers, George and Jeffery; and brother-in-law, Roger. Mary was a beautifully caring and selfless person who will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her. Please join us for a visitation from 5 - 8 pm on Thursday, August 8th at Washburn-McReavy Edina Funeral Chapel, 5000 W 50th St, Edina, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 9th at 10 am at the Church of the Assumption, 51 7th St W, St. Paul, MN. There will be a visitation at the church one hour prior to the mass and reception to follow the service. Private interment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
