Mark Joseph DuBois

Mark Joseph DuBois, age 53 of Edina, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, surrounded by his family. Mark was born to Donald Elwood and Lavonne Joyce DuBois on February 1, 1973. From a young age, Mark found joy in everything he did, developing an unwavering love for WWE wrestling, ice cream and potato chips, Star Wars, and most importantly, his family. As a child, one of Mark's favorite things to do was take trips to his family's farm in Highmore, South Dakota. Everyone around Mark was always happy to see him, as he brought kindness into every life he touched, from the staff at Jerry's Foods in Edina, where he loved to shop, to his co-workers at Best Buy, to his family every single day. Throughout adulthood, Mark continued to find joy in the simple things. He proudly worked in the mailroom at Best Buy for 23 years, decorating his desk with everything from Elvis Presley posters to pictures of his family. He loved watching WWE wrestling with his nephews and was always so proud to be "one of the boys." Whether he was writing daily schedules with every minute mapped out to a tee, building a new sculpture with his red Legos, or enjoying a good Diet Coke, Mark found happiness in life's everyday moments. There was nothing Mark loved more than his family - so much so that he was always the first one to text, "Happy birthday!" He brought them so much love. He made everyone better. Mark's joyous spirit continues to live on through his mother, Lavonne Joyce DuBois; siblings, Michelle (Andrew) Fraley and Michael "Boy" DuBois; nieces and nephews Katharine, Jane, Jack, and Michael Fraley; as well as many loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Elwood DuBois. In lieu of flowers and all gifts, memorials are preferred to Lifeworks Services, Inc.
