Lorene Paulette (Armstrong) Kyles was born on July 26th, 1949 in Gary, Indiana to the beloved parents Johnny James Armstrong Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Clark) Armstrong. From a young age, Lorene dedicated her life to serving the lord, praising him daily with a joyful heart. She peacefully transitioned to her eternal rest on January 14th 2025 surrounded by her loving husband and family, who were her greatest blessings. A proud Theodore Roosevelt High School graduate, Lorene thrived in sports and music, igniting her passion for these pursuits in her children. She tirelessly supported countless others in her community, showing what it means to lift one another up. Her unique bond with her children, love for cooking, and shared movie nights exemplified her generous spirit and unwavering dedication to nurturing those around her. Lorene cherished every moment spent with her 28 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher, leader and friend. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Quitman Kyles Sr., and her remarkable children: Bonesa Scott, Michael Scott Jr. (Emily Scott), Gamiel Hall (Brianne Hall), Quitman Kyles Jr., and Paris Kyles (Sarah Kyles). Her beloved siblings, Mary Moore (with Randle Moore Sr.), Pamela Topps (with Elbert Topps Sr.), Donna Armstrong, Loretta James (With Herman James III), Annette Exom, and Phyllis Harris (with Leroy Harris Sr.) are a testament to the strength and love she fostered. Lorene is preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Johnny Armstrong Sr., her dear son Jackie Hall Jr., and her cherished siblings Johnny (Silvereen) Armstrong Jr., and Sharon (Armstrong) William (Willie L.). Lorene's love and dedication will continue to inspire us. Her spirit encourages us to share her stories and uphold her legacy. The warmth and positivity she spread will forever enrich our lives reminding us of the profound impact one person can have on the hearts of many. Lorene's nurturing spirit and generous heart have left an indelible mark on everyone she met. She is lovingly remembered by many. The love and dedication Lorene shared will resonate in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her, ensuring that her legacy shines on brightly. Repass at 4pm.
