Linda Lee Kotval

Linda Lee Kotval, age 75, passed away after a lifelong battle with chronic illnesses on June 24, 2024, in Tucson, AZ. Linda was born on August 16, 1948 in Bertha, MN. She was the beloved daughter of Ruben and Viola Strack. Linda was preceded in death by her father Ruben Strack, mother Viola Strack, and brother Daniel Strack. On November 25, 1967, Linda married the love of her life, Curtis Kotval, at St. Raphael's Church in New Hope, MN. Their union was a testament to love and commitment that lasted through the years. Linda was a graduate of Robbinsdale Cooper High School and excelled in her administrative employment positions while also dedicating herself to the role of a loving homemaker. She was devoted to her family, and her warm presence brought joy to all those around her. In her free time, Linda enjoyed many hobbies and interests, which included paper crafting, traveling, camping, grandchildren and socializing with friends. She found true happiness in creative projects and spending time with her loved ones. Upon retirement, Linda and Curtis spent 10 years in Tucson, Arizona, enjoying the warmer climate and making new friends. Linda's memory will forever be cherished by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her loving husband Curtis Kotval, brother Tony Strack (Barb), sister-in-law Muriel Strack, daughter Molly Juba (Mark), and her grandchildren Andrew Juba and Megan Juba. Their lives were enriched by her love, wisdom, and support. A celebration of Linda's life will be held on July 26th, 2024 at the Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Chapel at 5125 W. Broadway, Crystal, Minnesota. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am. Linda will be remembered not only for her kindness and generosity but also for the love and laughter she shared with all who had the privilege of knowing her. In the quiet moments and the laughter shared, Linda's spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her grace and warmth. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. May her soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that she was loved beyond measure.
