Jaster (née Williams), Kelsey Jo It is with great sorrow that the family of Kelsey Jo Jaster, née Williams, age 33, of Maple Grove, Minnesota, shares that Kelsey went to her heavenly home on November 8th, 2021. Born in June 1988, in Minneapolis, and raised in Plymouth, MN, Kelsey awed her proud parents from an early age with her intellectual ability and aptitude to challenge authority in equal measure. As schoolwork came so easily to her, she focused her attention on her many friendships, family, faith, sports, dogs, and good-humored mischief. She shared a close bond with her partners in crime (a.k.a. brothers) and was somehow just as protective of them as they were of her. She earned a degree in marketing and economics with a minor in good times from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and joined General Mills soon after graduation where she spent her career creatively convincing the world of the merit of her products while conducting business with a constant infusion of humor. Kelsey was united in marriage to her Tom in a match that perfectly blended their effusive love for life into a solid partnership that spread joy and celebration to everyone around them. Blessed with two young sons, Joe and Will, Kelsey poured her heart and soul into her boys who returned their love just as deeply. She guided them to live in the moment, cherish family, and "share the love" with everyone they knew. Kelsey had a special gift for seeing the good in everyone and her caring spirit and generous heart were immediately felt by every person she met. She managed to radiate an entire lifetime's worth of love, kindness, and joy into her brief thirty-three years and the warmth of her soul will be carried on in all who were fortunate enough to know her. Kelsey is survived by her devoted husband Thomas Jaster, beloved children Joseph and William, mother Kim Bretland Williams, father Bartley Williams, grandmother Mary Arden "Pete" Bretland, brothers Peter and Bret (Tabitha) Williams, parents-in-law Greg & Cherie Jaster, siblings-in-law Melissa (Ryan) and Erik (Katie), and many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and dogs, Bear and Bentley. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Bretland, and grandparents, Doris and Arnie Pederson. In a final act of love to the world, Kelsey chose to give the gift of life as an organ donor to help others live on. In memory of Kelsey, please take a moment to "share the love" in any way that warms the soul of someone you love. A celebration of Kelsey Jo's life will be planned for a later time.
