Jordy Jamie Watters March 11, 2025 - March 20, 2025 With profound heartache, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Jordy Jamie Watters, who went to be with Jesus on March 20, 2025, after ten precious days with us. Jordy was born on March 11, 2025, weighing 4 lbs 8.3 oz and measuring 16 inches. Despite his early arrival at 33 weeks, he was a fighter from the very beginning. Diagnosed with bilateral kidney dysplasia, Jordy's journey was one of strength, courage, and unwavering love. His time in the NICU was spent surrounded by the devoted care of his medical team and the constant prayers of his family. Jordy is deeply loved by his parents, Benjamin Watters III and Marin Watters, and his big brother, Benjamin Watters IV (Benjo). He is also cherished by his grandparents: Jamie (Jim) and Janet Parsons, and Benjamin Watters Jr. and Susan Watters. Jordy is also survived by his loving aunts and uncles: Jameson Parsons and his wife Sarah Parsons (Wilhite), Bryn Moe (Parsons) and her husband Luke Moe, and Judy Garcia (Watters) and her husband Andrew Garcia. Though Jordy's time with us was short, he knew only love. He was held, prayed over, and embraced by his family in his final moments. While our hearts grieve, we take comfort in knowing he has been made whole in heaven and is in the arms of our Savior. Jordy's name holds deep spiritual meaning. "Jordy" is derived from "Jordan," representing faith, renewal, and stepping into God's promises-just as Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River. His middle name, Jamie, honors his grandfather, Jamie Parsons. We are beyond grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from our family, friends, and church community. Your kindness has carried us through this unimaginable time. "Can I bring him back again? I will go to him one day, but he cannot return to me." - 2 Samuel 12:23 "But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control." - Philippians 3:20-21 Flowers may be sent to Washburn-McReavy Edina Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 3-6pm on Friday, March 28, at Substance Church Downtown (101 E. Grant St.). A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 29, also at Substance Church Downtown. For both events, validated parking will be provided as available at the Loring Park Hyatt Ramp (1330 Nicollet Ave).
