Jonathan William Higgins

Jonathan William Higgins, 29 years old, passed away suddenly at home July 11, 2023. May the Peace/Love of Jesus bring comfort and consolation to all those who mourn him. JOHNNY WE LOVE YOU! Jonathan William Higgins is survived in death by his parents, David and Julie Higgins, grandmother Elaine Burgess, brothers Ryan Higgins (Sheila), Jeramie Higgins (Evelyn), Michael Higgins (Desirae), sisters Angela Higgins, and Crystal Higgins (Dave Crane). In addition, Uncle Jon is survived by many nieces and nephews, Anna Higgins, Alex Higgins, Grace Higgins, Evan Higgins, Alex Crane, Izzy Crane, and Kaelee Crane. Uncles Frank Higgins (Linda), Mick Higgins (Carol) Carl Higgins (Karen). Aunts Roxanne Yelle (Tom), Brenda Goder (David), Melonie Johnson (Rich), and Ronda Nelson (Laine). Cousins Kori, Kip, Gerard, Grant, Gabe, Alainna, Cassie, Justine, Nick, Taylor, and Lexi. He was preceded in death by his nephew Ethan Higgins, Grandpa Ron Burgess, Grandparents Clarence and Ella Higgins, Uncles Gary and Tim Higgins. Jon loved to play! When he was young, he loved to play outside in the sandbox, swim, and jump on our trampoline. He loved his pets; our house was a zoo! He loved to go up to our condo on Mille Lacs lake and swim, fish, and ride the ATV! As he grew older, he loved his Xbox and all of the online games! He was a communicator! He loved life and family and friends. Jon struggled when he was a teenager, but overcame all his troubles with the help of family and friends! He began a career at McDonalds and quickly moved up to Department Manager. Jon treated all the customers with the respect and dignity. He always looked for a way to show kindness to others. Jon's prayers were answered in early May when he got his dream job working at Federal of Anoka! Jon was knowledgeable about so many things; we don't even know where to begin! Farewell, our beautiful baby boy! Pray we may join you in Heaven some day, too! A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church of Anoka, 525 Jackson Visitation -10:00 a.m. Mass - 11:00 a.m. Luncheon - Noon Burial - 1:30 p.m. In lieu of a memorial, a donation can be made to the St. Stephen's Catholic Church Outreach Fund
