Jill Marie Draves

Jill Marie Draves (Griffith), 53, of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Born and raised in Coon Rapids, she graduated from Coon Rapids High School and earned her bachelor's degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Jill built a 26-year career at Wells Fargo, rising to Control Management Director and Senior Vice President through dedication, integrity, and a relentless work ethic. Beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, Jill was a beautiful wife with a stunning smile and beyond the most amazing mother to her two boys-she did everything for them, and they meant the world to her. Jill loved sports, especially soccer. She loved being on the field, whether playing, coaching both her boys with energy, pride, and heart, or watching them from the sidelines. She believed in the value of hard work and dedication, always telling her boys, "Be the hardest worker"-on the field, in practice, or in games. Jill was a deeply loving and present Mom. Even during her cancer journey, she never missed one of her boys' games. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering support for the people she loved defined her life. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of family and friends who knew her, and her spirit will remain present in all life events to come. She is survived by her loving husband, Clay; sons, Connor and Jaden; father, Rob Griffith; mother, Rose Griffith; brothers, Gary Griffith, Mike Griffith, Brian Griffith, and Todd Griffith; as well as many other beloved family members and friends. Visitation will be held at Washburn-McReavy in Coon Rapids on Wednesday, August 13, from 5:00-8:00 PM. A church service will be held at the Church of St. Timothy in Blaine on Thursday, August 14, at 11:00 AM, with lunch to follow. Interment will take place after lunch at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the doctors and staff at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and the Allina Cancer Institute at Abbott. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jill's name to the Allina Cancer Institute at Abbott.
