Jeanne M. Brevig

Brevig, Jeanne M. age 79, passed from this life to the everlasting one on May 26, 2022. Preceded in death by father Demetrious “Bud” Working, mother Ethel Knight (nee Duffy), Step Father - Frank Knight, Brothers Tom Working, Frank Knight Jr, and Warren Knight. Survived by daughter Michelle (Tim) Hiller, sister Dianne (Dave) Dahlberg, and nieces and nephews: Steve Knight, Stacey Knight, Sharon Knight Hannenburg, Brad Working, Katherine “Kat” Jenkins, Robert “Bob” Robillard, Kevin Robillard, Brian Robillard, Julia Commers, and Jenny Hanson – along with their spouses and significant others, and many great nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Jeanne attended Vocational High School in Minneapolis, and went on to have a career with Northwestern Bell, later US West Direct as a Customer Service Manager; then after “retirement” worked at Kohl’s Department Store in the jewelry department for a short time (which was probably dangerous) LOL! Then another several years at Home Buyers Marketing (along with her daughter) as the receptionist. Over the years she enjoyed dancing and gardening, as well as fishing trips to Lake Winibigoshish with other families that came up from the Chicagland area, warm weather get aways to Florida, Nevada, California and Texas, as well as business trips to Denver. She had lifelong friendships from high school, and two very dear friends from the phone company days Terre and Sue. She was in her own home up until her last few days – her mind sharp, but her body failing. But we are thankful that her spirit lives on! Special thanks to her neighbor and friend Chuck, who drove her to her B12 shots, and walked little Mia, when Mom couldn’t. Also neighbor Marty who helped with the lawn, snow removal and recently fixing the facia on the siding. We will be forever grateful. Services will be held Tuesday, May 31st at 1:30pm with visitation from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Washburn-McReavy – Glen Haven Chapel at 5125 West Broadway Crystal, MN 55429 Phone: 763-533-8643 Burial will be at a separate date and time with the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
