Watkins, Jeanille Ann, 78, passed away peacefully at home on March 6th after struggling with Lewy Body Dementia for 6 years. Survived by her husband of 50 years Gary, sons Tom & Joe (Melody) Watkins, daughter Susie (Tucker) Giertz & grandchildren Jaxon & Tatum Giertz, brother Pat (Mary) Sullivan, sister Colleen (Alan) Forbes, brother Dick (Arlene) Sullivan, sister Sharryl (Jim) Tholen, sister Michelle Feldhake, sister-in-law Sue Sullivan & many nieces & nephews. Jeanille was born in Marshall, MN & graduated from Central Catholic HS. She moved to Minneapolis & graduated from the Minnesota School of Business. Her first job after school was at Graco, Inc. in northeast Minneapolis where her husband, Gary, very was lucky to meet her. After time off to raise a family she worked for a real estate broker & finished her career at Lifetouch, the school photo company. She had loving friends wherever she went. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Pax Christi Catholic Church, 12100 Pioneer Trail, Eden Prairie, on St Patrick's Day, Friday, March 17 at 10:30. Visitation at the church 1 hour before. Dress code will be casual, jeans acceptable. The only ties we want to see will be on the funeral directors. There will be no dreadful reception line. We are celebrating a great life, not punishing the surviving friends & family. Please plan to attend the Celebration of Life party at the Chaska VFW, 620 Creek Rd, starting at about 12:30. It's an easy 9.8 mile drive, one left turn & one right turn & maps will be available at the funeral. Our favorite band, the Legendary Percolators, will be playing. Don't worry, they play at a volume that you can hold a normal conversation over. Food will be catered by Smokin' Hottdish, an excellent Cajun restaurant located in the EP City Center. There will be an open bar for the first hour & a half. Bring your significant other, even if they did not know Jeanille. Come to the party even if you can't make the funeral mass. We want people to party & dance in celebration of a sweetheart of a woman's life well lived. There will be an open mike to tell stories about Jeanille & what a wonderful person she was. We would like to thank the awesome, caring, thoughtful people at Minnesota Hospice & Fairview Accentcare Hospice for the phenomenal care & assistance we received at home for the past six months. They are truly angels. The last evening of her life a hospice music therapist played the harp for Jeanille. It was beautiful. Jeanille was preceded in death by her mother Regina Sullivan, father Bill Sullivan, brother Bill Sullivan, brother-in-law Alan Feldhake.
