Henry Michael Kujak

Henry Michael Kujak was born on the unique date of 04-04-04 (nobody ever forgot his birthday) and grew up in Plymouth, Minnesota as the oldest of the two children of Carrie Skrdla and Tom Kujak. Henry graduated from Robbinsdale Armstrong High School in 2022. He was active in various high school bands, the YMCA and Falcon Boys Swim Teams and met some of his best friends through these activities. He was a member of Boy Scouts and enjoyed the adventures of Sea Base and Philmont. He was currently attending the University of Minnesota. Henry loved nature. Henry worked for the Minneapolis Parks System and enjoyed the opportunity to combine nature and working with young children. Henry loved horror movies, mini-Starbursts, elephants, reality TV, key lime pie, music (especially Björk), and proudly finished his first marathon in June. He loved concerts and traveling and even better if he had to travel to attend that concert. His trip to Iceland (the home of Björk) this summer was a dream come true. He was a voracious reader. On vacation this summer, he was always looking for a quiet spot to finish his book. If there was one constant about Henry's life, it would be that he was deeply passionate about everything he was involved in, from athletics, to the environment, and especially to his friends. He deeply cared about how other people are treated and wanted everyone to just "Be Kind To Others". He was truly the definition of a sympathetic person. No matter who it was, they would remark how funny Henry was and how he made them feel like they belonged. Henry passed away at the age of 20 on August 21, 2024. He is survived by his parents, his brother Charlie; his grandparents, Ron and Marcia Skrdla of Ames, IA and JoAnn Kujak of Alma Center, WI; his aunts and uncles, Joel and Shannan Skrdla, Mechanicsville, VA; Barb and Jeff Hagenbrock, Black River Falls, WI; Diane Kujak, Black River Falls, WI; and Jim Kujak, Alma Center, WI; cousins Nathan, Nick, Will, Thomas, and Eleanor. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marcel Kujak. Henry was the best son and brother. He accomplished so much and was the joy and light in our lives. He will be missed more than can be expressed in words. Or key lime pie.
