Helen Linnea Kirschbaum

Helen Linnea Kirschbaum age 87, went to her heavenly home on August 30, 2025, at The Residence at Northridge after a brief battle with ovarian and colon cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents Oliver and Laura (Schlee) Anderson, her brothers Bob Anderson, Dick (Lois) Anderson, sister Arlene (Dale) Adamson and great nephew David Nelson. Helen graduated from Minneapolis North High School in 1955. She spent most of her career working in shipping and receiving at Buttreys Women's Store until the business closed. Later she worked at Cub Foods in the bakery until she retired. She loved to go fishing with her brother Dick's family at Blackduck and later with her nephews. She also loved fishing, ice fishing and snowmobiling at Red Lake with family. She loved playing games, especially with her nephew Tim. Her favorite past time was coloring, counted cross stitch and embroidering pillowcases. Helen was a very loving person and loved to spend time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her sister Linda (Jack) Benson and sister-in-law Darleen Anderson. Nieces and nephews, Deb Anderson, Valerie (Casey) Kennedy, Bob Jr. (Bobbie) Anderson, Jill Harrison, Rick Jr. (Sue) Anderson, Roger Anderson, John Anderson, Jennifer Adamson, Corey (Cassandra) Benson, Amy (Roy) Heilman) and David (Amber) Benson. Great nieces and nephews, Joe (Jackie) Anderson, Sarah Nordhausen, Jessica (Michael) Sakariason, Tim Anderson, Amanda Bartels, Justin Bartels, Jaden Anderson, Ruby Heilman, Emmett Heilman, Hannah Keller, Devin Benson, Avery Benson, Olivia Benson, Molly Benson, Drew Benson, Graham Benson, Kelly (Chad) Dehn, Kyle (Lindsey) Kennedy. Great-great nieces and nephews, Alaina Nordhausen, Bailey Nordhausen, Mikayla Anderson, Rylie Anderson, Taylor Dehn, Mia Dehn, Quinn Kennedy, Charley Kennedy and Elija Huntly. Many other family and friends. Her family will be there to welcome her with open arms. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred. Celebration of Life will be held at Washburn McReavy - Glen Haven Chapel, 5125 West Broadway, Crystal, MN 763-533-8643, Saturday, September 27, 2025. Reviewal at 1 pm, service at 2 pm, luncheon to follow.
