Hanne Lilly Hubenette August 7, 1937 - March 30, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Hanne Lilly Hubenette. Preceded in death by her loving husband David, and survived by her children Sten (Ruth), Renee (Mark Koethe), Marissa (Robert) Lilyblad, Julia (Craig) Mueller, Nick (Angel), and Anthony, 10 Grandchildren,13 Great grandchildren and 2 sisters-in-law, Shirley Hubenette and Charlotte Thompson. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, Hanne brought a bit of Danish charm and warmth to every heart she touched. Her journey started there, leading her eventually to cross paths with her soulmate, David Hubenette. They married, moved to Minnesota and had 2 biological children and 4 adopted children. Hanne was content with her family life and in raising her six children; seeing her family grow was a source of immense joy, and her legacy shines brightly through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Hanne had a wonderful ability to make people feel special and loved. She had a remarkable talent for creating friendships wherever she went, drawing others in with her vitality and joyful spirit. Hanne loved music, enjoyed walks and shopping and her adventurous spirit was seen and felt during travels and especially on motorcycle rides alongside David, her devoted companion. Despite facing her own struggles with fear and anxiety, Hanne was a source of strength because of her deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ. As a prayer warrior, she often lifted others in prayer and drew strength from her relationship with the Lord. Though we will miss her dearly and feel an ache in her absence, we find solace in knowing that she is now at peace, free from pain, fear, and anxiety. Her spirit is more vibrant and alive than ever before, secure in the presence of her Savior. We will hold Hanne close in our hearts until we meet again. Her memory will be cherished, and her legacy will endure in the smiles and love of her family. A celebration of Hanne's life will be held at on Thursday, April 17 at Tree of Life Church 3905 Woodland Rd. Lexington, MN. Visitation will be held at 10am with the service following at 11am, lunch will be served. All who knew and loved Hanne are welcomed to join us in honoring her life.
