Gregory Francis Paczkowski

Gregory Francis Paczkowski, M.D., M.B.A., age 41, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, of natural causes. Gregory received his medical degree from Wayne State University in 2016. He completed his residency in Family Medicine in 2020 at St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Livonia, Michigan. He received his master's in business administration from the Ross School of Business, at the University of Michigan in May 2020. Gregory was the first student at the University of Michigan to concurrently complete a medical residency while working towards his master's degree. Gregory began his Family Medicine practice in August of 2020 at Allina Health, Nicollet Mall Clinic. During the pandemic, Gregory practiced out of Uptown Clinic for several months as the downtown clinic location was very slow. He assumed the lead provider role at Nicollet Mall Clinic in September of 2021 and expanded that role to include the Greenway Clinic in February of 2024. Gregory also had a special interest and passion for serving underserved communities. Gregory was an excellent physician, highly regarded by his patients and his clinic colleagues. He was an even better son, brother, and true friend. His spirit and presence live in the hearts of family, friends, and all who knew him. Gregory left us far too soon, yet in his time with us, we were truly and forever blessed by his love for us and his love of life. Gregory lived life to the fullest. He was an avid cyclist-it was not unusual for him to ride 100 miles in a single day. He was a passionate supporter of the Fine Arts in Minneapolis at the Walker Art Center, MSP Film Society, and Guthrie Theater. Gregory enjoyed all the finer things in life: fine dining, fine wine, and travel. This past year Gregory visited Dublin, Kraków, Montreal, and Boston. Gregory appreciated wide and diverse genres and styles of music. Gregory is survived by his parents Ron Paczkowski and Judith Talbott, his sisters Rachel Paczkowski and Beth Wood, brother-in-law Aaron Wood, his nieces Grace and Willa, and nephew Alex. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 18th, 2024, at Washbern McReavy, Hillside Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1 pm, a service will be held at 2 pm. In memory of Gregory, memorial gifts can be made to the Walker Art Center, MSP Film Society, Guthrie Theater, or the Red Door Clinic. Dear Gregory, we miss you dearly. Peace and all good. We will be together again.
