Grayson Andrew Oie

July 12th, 1990 - March 10th, 2023 Grayson Andrew Oie, age 32 of Elko, Minnesota passed away unexpectedly on March 10th, 2023, and is now resting in God's loving arms. Grayson was born on July 12th, 1990, in Detroit Michigan to Elizabeth and Jon Oie. He was baptized and confirmed at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated from Lakeville North High School in 2009. On August 9th, 2014, Grayson married his high school sweetheart Andrea Christianson, and they were blessed with two wonderful children, Jon, and Claire. Spending summers with family on the Whitefish Chain, vacations in Door County and the Florida Keys, Grayson developed a love for being on the water. He received his Coast Guard Operators license at the young age of twelve with the guidance and encouragement of his special "Grandpa" Dave Chomeau. Grayson's passion for boating and his strong drive allowed him to build a successful business with Screamin' Eagle Marine. Grayson was dedicated to his family and work. He was smart, incredibly thoughtful with a huge heart and was always there no questions asked when someone needed help. We will miss his presence on this earth but look forward to the day we are reunited again. Grayson was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Karen Jones, maternal grandfather Bill Jones, great grandparents Clifford and Bernice Johnson, Grace Jones, and Margaret McDougall. Grayson is survived by his wife Andrea, children Jon and Claire, parents, Liz and Jon Oie; brothers, Collin (Jenna) Oie, Harry (Kenadee Schultz), sister, Karen Oie, Grandparents, Claire and Ralph Oie, "Grandparents" Dave and Betty Chomeau, mother-in-law, Patti Connolly (Mike), father-in-law, Donald Christianson; sister-in-law, Holly Drone (Dave), aunt and uncle, Margy and Tim Campion, Peggy Oie; nieces and nephews, Clifford Oie, Maya Oie, Ellie Oie, Waylon Oie, Victoria Drone, Alex Drone and many other relatives and friends. A service will be held in his honor on Friday, March 17th, 2023, at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota at 2:00pm with a reception to follow.
