Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Larson, Age 66, of Richfield, passed away May 16th, 2025. Preceded in death by her parents, Richard Suby Larson and Mary Larson Marble, stepfather, Lawrence Marble, mother-in-law, Raleigh Brand, sister, Anne Marble Kennedy, brothers-in-law, Randy Willmert and JB Holb, and sister-in-law, Regina Brand. Survived by loving husband Harlan Brand, two children, Amy (Taylor) Kuller and Lauren Kuller, siblings, Dave (Ginger) Larson, Paul (Judy) Larson, Tom (Liz) Larson, John (Lauri Jo) Larson, Joe (Gretchen) Marble, Margi Wilmert, Pete (Lynn) Larson, Theresa Marble, Matt (Jennifer) Larson, Cathee Holb, Paul (Jessie) Marble, Annie (Mark) Opitz, Larry Brand, Debbie (Mike) Johns, Joel Brand, Steve Kennedy, and many other family and friends. Service will be held on May 21st, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Adath Jeshurun Congregation, burial to follow. Despite facing various health challenges, Liz never gave up and never complained. She always found a way to exceed others' expectations of what she was capable of. As a kid, she took off her leg brace and threw it, even after doctors told her parents she may never walk. If she had her mind set to it you could not tell her no. She always wanted the best for her loved ones, fought and advocated for them, and pushed them to see things through and achieve their full potential. She was always filled with pride and joy when talking about her loved ones, especially her daughters. Liz was a trendsetter in her family, often being the first to have the newest technology, which she made sure to treat well and wouldn't replace unless there was no other option. She left the protective wrapping on many of her appliances and kept her car in working order for 25 years. Liz took great care and interest in those around her too. Always curious about everyone's doings, Liz could spend hours on the phone being filled with life from the stories of people she loved. She loved staying in touch and staying connected with family and friends. At family gatherings, she participated in the "Midwest Goodbye", always sticking around for "just one more" conversation before leaving. Liz remembered everything, even things that people forgot about themselves. Liz loved music. She played piano and had a beautiful singing voice, which she passed along to her daughters. She loved listening to music, playing her favorites again and again. Though she was known for giving sass to her sisters, she taught her daughters compassion through example.
