Elaine Barbara Bolduc

Elaine B. Bolduc (Berg) of Lakeville, MN passed away August 15, 2024 at the age of 85. Elaine was born to Daniel and Pearl Berg (Jones) on January 20, 1939. Elaine loved being in northern Minnesota, where both her and her husband Ron (marriage for 67 years) lived much of their retirement years in Grand Marias, Mn for 20 years until moving back to the Twin Cities 3 1/2 years ago due to medical issues. Elaine enjoyed traveling via camper or camping trailer, hitting each corner of the country with her husband and family and later years through their timeshare. She loved to cook collecting 100's magazine recipes, loved to read, loved doing crafts including stained glass. Elaine loved to laugh, especially at the silliest of things; commercials, movies, cartoons, Television shows even comments made by others taking the silliness to the extreme. She loved watching football, was a Vikings fan until Aaron Rogers started playing for the Packers. Elaine worked at Northwestern Life, Peterson Seed, National Car, and Quello Medical as a secretary, administrative assistant, claims analyst and medical transcriptionist. She is survived by her husband Ronald Bolduc, her children Scott (Candace) Bolduc, Steven (Lisa) Bolduc, Pam (Jim) Kichler; five grandchildren Anthony (Sarah) Bolduc, Amanda Bolduc, Anna Bolduc, Amber (Adam) Gebler, Nicholas Bolduc; ten great grandchildren, Daniel Bolduc, Isaiah Bolduc, Eve Bolduc, Eden Bolduc, Esther Bolduc, Andrew Myskewitz, Ayla Rae Myskewitz, Olivia Myskewitz, Eleanore Gebler, Joseph Gebler; Her sister Marilyn (Steve) Cullen; nephews Daniel Gundlach, James (Beth Rene') Gundlach, Terry (Paula) Bolduc, Kenneth Bolduc, and nieces Mary Bolduc and Barbara Haupt. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel (Pearl) Berg, brother-in-law/wife Vernon (Shonny) Bolduc; mother and father -in-law Majoric (Bernadette)Bolduc; sister-in-law Majorie Bolduc; nieces Diane Pfeffer, Janice Johnson and Sharon Schreifels. Memorial and prayer services will be held on Friday August 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dawn Valley Funeral Home in Bloomington, 9940 Bush Lake Road, Bloomington, Mn 55348 with Deacon Peter Loving, officiating. Visitation for Elaine will be held at the Dawn on Friday August 30, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Dawn Valley Funeral Home in Bloomington. Burial at Dawn Valley Cemetery to follow the prayer service at 12:00 pm and a luncheon will be held afterwards at the Dawn Valley Funeral home. The family extends their gratitude to the wonderful staff at Kingsley Shores Assisted Living and Memory care. Also Twin Cities Physicians and M-Health Fairview Ridges hospital to include all the exceptional doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and others that helped Elaine over the past three years to allow her to have the quality of life she desired with respect and dignity.
