Edna B. Daniels

Daniels, Edna Vivian (Stein) Our loving mother, age 84, of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 13, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kingston, Minnesota on Feb. 19, 1929 to the late Harry and Selma Stein. She attended Floodwood Schools and worked at Munsingwear in Minneapolis before moving to San Francisco where she worked as a catalogue illustrator. She was married to Kenneth F. Daniels in June of 1953 and they had 8 children together. Edna was an accomplished artist, be it with pencil and pad, her flourishing gardens, or in the kitchen baking, always with a warm smile on her face and a beautiful song in her heart. She possessed an amazing love of children, animals, music, literature (especially Agatha Christie Novels), and theatre, yet always managed time for family or the challenges of fixing that broken thing-a-ma-jig. Preceded in death by brothers, Quentin Charlie, John and Jack; sisters, Marion and Peggy. Survived by sisters, Luella, Connie, Shirley and Barb. Also survived by loving sons, Tim (Winnie), Pat (Mary), Mark (Tami), Jim (Julianne); daughters, Lisa (Gary), Jill (Bill), Mikki, Katie (Rik); grandchildren, Kenny, Philly, Isabella, Nick, Ali, Jason, Erin, Noah, Rachael, Oliver, Elliana, Danii (Kevin), Jake, Paris, Frenchi, Cali (Ryan), Emily, Micki, Dylan, Alec, Imala and Nygel; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Julian, Korryn, Hunter and Kiwii, many beautiful nieces and nephews (31 from Stein family) (3 from Daniels family). Also survived by special friends, John, Cathy, Lydia, Lisa, Robert, Shem, Millicent, Randy, Mike, Lily, Charlotte, Barbara, Monica, and faithful four-legged companions, Peanut and Pudge. Edna will be lovingly remembered as the amazing woman she was, a fabulous mother, grandmother, sister and friend! Visitation 5-7 PM Tuesday, March 19 at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 50th St. and Hwy. 100, and 1/2 hr. prior to the Wednesday service. Funeral service 12 Noon Wednesday, March 20 at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave. S., Mpls., followed by interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
