Dorothy Mae Walker

Dorothy M Walker was born in Aberdeen, Mississippi on August 17th, 1949, to Wardell Walker and Carrie Louise Walker. She gained her wings and went back to the most high God after a short battle with lung cancer. Although Dorothy was born in Mississippi, she traveled to Minneapolis Minnesota at the age of 19 years old. Established life here with the love of her life Alphonzo and created a home. Our mother was a strong-minded, hard-working woman until she became disabled in May of 2011 following a stroke. Dorothy was sophisticated and classy. She knew how to get down in the kitchen. She was a beautiful loving mother and grandmother. She carried herself with grace especially all that knew her. She loved to travel, life of the party and loved her casino. She loves her siblings deeply even though she lived here in Minnesota, and they lived in Mississippi, family came first. All three of Dorothy's daughters want to thank her for being the best mother she could be. Always giving us 100% of her, Thank her for building us to be the strong women, we are today.
