Donna Margaret Posterick

Donna Margaret Posterick (nee Przybilla) joined her heavenly father on Saturday December 3rd, 2022, at the age of 85. Born in rural Minnesota on June 28th, 1937, Donna was a gift to all who knew her. She grew up on the family farm in Buckman, MN, and had many stories about farm and family life. She was the first in her German family to speak English when she started grammar school. After graduating high school, she lived in Minneapolis with a group of girlfriends, and married her beloved husband Ken on May 21st, 1962, and they enjoyed 60 ½ years together until her death. Donna was known for her many unique and beautiful attributes. She was a woman of deep Catholic faith, and throughout her life devoted daily time to prayer and meditation. She also found joy in life every day, in the large and the small, and with her big heart was able to see the good in everyone, and it's fair to say that everyone she met saw the goodness in her. With her talent as a cook she made sure everyone was well fed with delicious homemade meals and treats. Donna humbly led by example in being kind and loving toward others, embracing friends and neighbors into the warm home she created. Donna stayed active with her daily exercises and walks with her neighborhood friends as long as she could, and was known to sing around the house and in the garden; those who had the pleasure of overhearing her will remember her propensity for composing her own lyrics for familiar melodies. Donna is survived by her husband Kenneth; children Kathleen (Roger), Jeffery, and Jennifer, and heart daughter Elisabeth Kuehni; her grandchildren Christopher (Jenny) and Matthew; five great grandchildren; her siblings Marvin (Marlene) and Ronald (Janice); in-laws Jerome, Duane (Phyllis), and Shirley; and a wealth of nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Julianna, her beloved sister and partner-in-all-things Marcine, and countless family and friends she loved. For those who loved Donna, she will be remembered for her gentleness, generosity, kindness, ready smile, subtle humor, those alternate song lyrics, her favorite German words, her many recipes, her green thumb, and more than anything the sense of love and acceptance she readily shared with others.
