Dianne Carolyn Boerger

In Loving Memory of Dianne Dianne Carolyn Boerger (Hanson), peacefully entered eternal rest on July 11, 2026 at the age of 80. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Doloris and Dean McGeorge, and her brother, Douglas Hanson. She is survived by her devoted husband, Lester Boerger; her daughter, Dee Brinkhaus, and son-in-law, Michael Brinkhaus; her grandson, Andrew Brinkhaus; her granddaughter, Melinda Miller, and husband, Jeffrey Miller; and her three cherished great-grandchildren, Austyn, Michael, and Clayton. Dianne will be remembered as a woman whose life was defined by faith, kindness, and an extraordinary capacity to love. Gospel music was often the soundtrack of her home, with the comforting hymns of Tennessee Ernie Ford frequently playing on the stereo. Those songs reflected the faith that carried her through life's joys and challenges and brought her peace throughout the years. For many years, she dedicated herself to caring for children as a childcare provider. She had a special gift for connecting with little ones and loved each child she cared for as if they were her own. Countless children passed through her care, but to her, they were always "her little people." She found great joy in watching them grow, learn, and thrive, and her influence will live on in the lives of many families she touched. She also had a deep affection for animals, especially dogs. She never met a dog she didn't want to pet, hug, or spoil with love and attention. Whether caring for family pets, the neighbors special dog Preston, or greeting a new furry friend, she found joy and companionship in their presence. Family was at the center of everything she did. She cared deeply for those she loved and was generous to a fault, always willing to share her time, energy, and heart with others. Her love was abundant and unconditional. Sometimes it could feel a little overwhelming, but it always came from a place of genuine care and concern. Anyone who knew her will remember her hugs-not the quick, polite kind, but the ones that came with a tight squeeze and several firm pats on the back, letting you know without a doubt that you were loved. Her kindness, faith, and nurturing spirit touched many lives. She had a way of making people feel cared for, welcomed, and important. Whether through a comforting conversation, a helping hand, a favorite hymn, or a warm embrace, she left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. We will gather to honor a woman whose life was filled with faith, love, kindness, and devotion to her family. Together, we will share memories, laughter, tears, and stories of the many lives she touched-from the children she lovingly cared for, to the family and friends she held so close to her heart. Celebration of Life Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating the life of Dianne on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at 10:00 at Robbinsdale Parkway United Church of Christ. (4200 Lake Road, Robbinsdale, Mn. 55422). Visitation will be held before the service from 9:30 to 10:00. Following the service, family and friends are invited to remain for fellowship, brunch and remembrance as we celebrate a life well lived and a love that will remain with us always. Her Legacy The measure of a life is found in the people who carry its lessons forward, and Dianne leaves behind a legacy rich in love. Her family will remember her "aggressive" hugs, her deep faith, and her generosity. Every hymn that plays, every child who feels cherished, and every dog that finds a loving hand will be reminders of the beautiful impact she had on the world. Her story does not end here-it lives on in the hearts of her friends and family.
