Craig Allen Hulbert

Craig Allen Hulbert, was given by God on February 2, 1959, and given to God on March 1, 2023. Craig was many things to many people. He was generous and loyal; a devoted son, brother, friend and step-dad. Craig was a proud Bloomington resident for most of his life. He graduated from Jefferson High School, and then St. Cloud State University earning his business degree. Craig was a successful salesperson and demonstrated passion for all of his work endeavors. Craig was a lifelong athlete with a love for the outdoors and a competitive spirit. He played many sports as a boy and played golf in high school. As an adult he continued playing the game he loved most - golf. He was a member of Minnesota Valley Country Club for many years and took many trips to Arizona to play golf with friends. In addition to his many hours on the golf course, he liked to spend time with his friends of over 50 years: hiking and listening to live music at local establishments and concerts. He was also an avid card player. Many hours were spent playing cards around the family table. Craig's faith was the cornerstone of his life. He enjoyed attending Bible Study Fellowship. He loved the Lord and trusted Him completely. It is through his faith that he met ALS with courage, strength, and a positive outlook. Craig's sense of humor and kind heart will be missed greatly by his family and friends. He was known for having a quick wit and being quite the teaser. Craig had a very generous spirit. Craig was ready to help anyone when he was asked. Even as his health was failing, he asked to be taken to St. Paul where he would give money to those in need, something he had done for many years. The family would like to thank his friends for their continued support. Craig ("Hube") loved you all so very much, and often mentioned how thankful he was to have you in his life. Craig was preceded in death by his dad (Jack), sister Christine, and brother-in-law Marc. He is survived by his mom Ann, brother Steve (Sue), sisters Karin, Peggy (George), Michelle (Huy), brother-in-law Vicente, stepchildren, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. A memorial for Craig will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 31 at Washburn-McReavy, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the memorial. There will be a private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you kindly make donations to Special Olympics or the ALS Association.
