Constance Marie Lyke

LYKE (White) Constance M. "Connie" Age 85, of New Brighton Died on May 15th, 2026. Connie was a graduate of St. Anthony HS Class of 1959. She attended Immaculate Conception for Elementary school and was a parishioner at the church. While hanging and bowling with mutual friends, she met Tom Lyke. They were married on May 13, 1967. They lived in Alexandria VA for a year where they had their first child. They moved back to MN and built a home in New Brighton, MN where they lived the rest of their days. Connie was a wedding dress seamstress and worked various bookkeeping jobs until she retired. She was a homemaker and busy mom of three. She continued with her bowling for years until her arthritis forced her to retire. She enjoyed golfing on a Thursday morning league for many years. She also enjoyed playing cards with her girlfriends, going on girls' trips, going on the annual bowling trips with Tom all over the US. She enjoyed her daily walks at Northtown with her friend of many years, Annette, and then enjoying coffee with other friends she has made over the years at Northtown. These daily interactions was something she treasured and looked forward to. Connie enjoyed watching her kids play sports, including soccer, hockey and baseball. She continued to watch and attend as many games and practices as she could for her grandkids and great grandson. She was a huge Wild fan and when they weren't playing, she would watch the other "generic" teams. Connie is preceded in death by her husband Tom, her parents Ralph and Mildred, her in - laws Tom and Lois Lyke, her sisters Jean and Carole and her brother Dale, brothers-in-law Durwyn Anderson, Donald Hagen, Robert Kneefe, and Bill Lyke. She is survived by her children Debra, Mark (Julie), and Brian (Michelle). Grandchildren Jennifer (AJ), Megan (Jack), Logan, Tyler, and Evan. Great-grandson Theo. Sister Marilyn Anderson, sisters-in-law Nancy Kneefe, Bonnie Lyke and Faith White along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, June 18th, 2026, at Washburn - McReavy-Holcom-Henry-Boom-Purcell Funeral Home, 515 Hwy 96 West at Mackubin in Shoreview. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, June 19th, 2026 (visitation 1 hour prior to mass) at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton. Internment following luncheon at Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Johns or Ralph Reader Food Shelves.
