Connie Andrae Sanmartin

"Are there angels among us? Anyone who knew Connie would answer 'yes' to that question. Her husband, who loved her even since before he met her, was blessed beyond measure by having her by his side for over 30 years. After finishing the job the Lord gave her to do among us, on July 8 - 2023 Connie left a body broken due to a long illness and jumped into the arms of Jesus. Connie loved her family as much as she loved Jesus Christ. A classy and fashionable woman, with a style that matched her personality, she was vivacious and bright - a true Proverbs 31 woman of virtue. She loved everyone she met and there was not an ounce of malice in her personality. She is and will be dearly missed by: her husband José Sanmartín, children Tiffany (Dean) Teske, Lisa (Josh) Sanmartín, Troy (Lisa) Teske, Todd (Mara) Teske, grandchildren Quinlyn, Lexi, Antonia, Emmanuelle, Avery, Zoe, Harlow, Lazarus, Birdie, Sage, Carter, and Riley, and by her brother Dan, her faithful friend Carol Seifert, other relatives and many friends made over the years - all of them her constant source of joy and prayers. Connie came to us on May 4, 1946 via North Platte, NE. With her parents Bob and Harriett Koch, moved to the Twin Cities where her brother Dan was born. Graduated from Washburn High School and later from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She practiced at Excelsior Family Dental for almost 40 years. She loved her job and her patients. Connie and José were married on May 21, 1993 and their marriage was the greatest blessing to both of them. For many years they served in many ministries at their Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie. Connie loved life, loved to travel, loved to meet new people, and.... (whenever possible take them shopping!) She left us the great lesson that no matter what the circumstances God always gives us the chance and encouragement to move one foot forward. A Celebration of Connie's Life will be held at Wooddale Church, Eden Prairie, MN, August 5, 2023 at 11:00AM, refreshments will follow. Livestream will be available at https://www.wooddale.org/events, 15 minutes before the service. You will be forever missed, angel."
