Cheryl Lynn Archambault

Cheryl Lynn Archambault, age 60, amazing mother, incredible grandmother, beautiful sister, and loving friend unexpectedly passed away in the early morning hours of January 3rd, 2022 at her home in South Minneapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents Edna and Philip Sr. Cheryl was born on August 4th, 1961 in Fort Yates, North Dakota to a family with 6 other children. She cared for her loved ones and always put her children first. She had a way with words; she would know exactly what to say to make others smile, if not laugh, every single time. One of her many talents was her ability to cook amazing dishes that her grandkids will miss, specifically her tacos and burgers. Cheryl was a talented seamstress who used this skill to take care of others by sewing masks together for everyone. When not taking care of her family, she was an avid football fan who would constantly cheer on her team the Minnesota Vikings. She would always try to spark up a conversation with everyone as she enjoyed telling stories, jokes, and would speak with the utmost sweet words. Cheryl believed in being happy and grateful no matter the situation one was within in their life. She was full of love and years of wisdom. She would provide advice and endless life lessons to others. Cheryl would make the most out of any circumstance, as she was able to constantly make a house feel like a true home to her 7 children. If there was ever a problem, she would find a fix for it. She had a way of always seeing the best in people no matter what. Although this was a sudden event, Cheryl would remind us to be grateful every day that the creator has given us, such as in this circumstance she would not want anyone to be sad over her passing. As Cheryl would say, "this is life, you're born, you live, you die", these are one of the many sayings her family will remember her by going forward, especially by her 7 children Rachel, Jesse, Albert, Nicole, Hunter, Carmen, and Ava who will greatly miss her. Cheryl is survived by her 6 siblings Debra Vermillion, Philip Archambault Jr., Laura Archambault, William Little Hawk, Marie Archambault, and Dominic Archambault; her 7 children Rachel Skinaway, Jesse Skinaway, Albert Mountain, Nicole Mountain, Hunter Mountain, Carmen Criollo, and Ava Criollo; her 5 grandchildren Earl Caldwell, Elondray Caldwell, Indaanis Skinaway, Desmond Skinaway, and Jabbar Mountain; and many other family members. A celebration of her life took place on January 8th, 2022 at her family home.
