Carol June Radniecki

Carol June Radniecki (Agerlie) died peacefully in her home on January 21, 2024 at the age of 66. Born January 15,1958 in Minneapolis MN to Lola (Smith) and Oliver Agerlie. She is survived by her husband Charles; their children Melissa (Russell Pearson), Jennifer (Darrol Thomas), and Charles (Kaitlyn Radniecki); grandchildren, Tyler, Carson, and Everly; and her siblings Anita Guillotel, Jerry Agerlie, and Rick Agerlie (Angela), along with many nieces and nephews. Carol is preceded in death by her mother and father, and her sister Bonnie Flaggan. Carol graduated from Richfield High School in 1976 and went to Lutheran Deaconess where she earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She married Charles, in 1981. They moved north while Charles was working various construction jobs and Carol nursed at various hospitals. After welcoming Melissa and Jennifer into their lives while living in Dilworth MN, the couple moved to Coon Rapids where they remain, and soon after had their third child Charles. Carol was a loving mother who would do anything for her children and encouraged them to attain their life goals. Carol found her nursing niche working with the elderly and working nights since she had always been a night owl. She worked at many different nursing homes throughout the metro over her 44 years as a RN. She was a natural caregiver, who really had a compassion for helping people. Carol loved all of her family above all else, especially her grandchildren. Carol had a wide range of interests. In her early years, she was an avid cross country skier and runner. She loved being outside in nature, going for walks, sailing, swimming, or camping. She would commonly take random adventures to various places all over the midwest and enjoyed traveling to historical or beach locations. She could never turn down the challenge of growing different plants and fiddling around with her yard. Carol loved to craft in all forms of the word. She became involved in beading and would make rosaries to send to any church that would take them. Carol's love of music was supported by her mother, and she sang in many church choirs, and a singing group with her sisters and 3 other friends called the Shag Hies. Over the last few years, she decided to learn the harp, and absolutely loved getting back to her musical roots and playing a new instrument. Carol could never turn down a game of anything. She especially loved playing Canasta with her daughters and Dominoes with her siblings. Carol loved God and as she lived a reclusive life with her family at her side, she took solace in the bible. A visitation and funeral service will be held in Carol's honor at 10am and 11am, respectively, on January 29th, 2024 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1601 S Fourth Ave Anoka, MN 55303 with a reception to follow. The family requests any memorials be sent to St. Jude, an organization Carol felt strongly about. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Carol's life.
