Logeais, Carol A. (Sather) Age 91, of Andover passed away at home July 12, Born July 17, 1932 in Mankato, MN. Parents Esther and Clarence Sather. Raised in Buffalo, MN, graduated from Buffalo H.S, attended U of M on a scholarship. Married to Ralph Logeais of Annandale, MN. Five lively, fun sons followed. They settled in No. Mpls. And attended Mpls public schools. Carol was involved in Scouts, various PTA's, youth work at Salem Lutheran in No. Mpls. Active member of Salem Lutheran as choir soprano, sometimes soloist for many years, church council, Co-Manager of Salem Dining Hall at State Fair and actively involved with Dining Hall for 46 years and involved with Funeral Lunch Committee. Carol & Ralph were accepted in the first MN Hospice program as volunteers at North Memorial Hospital in 1982. Carol remained involved and did home care, hospital and bereavement work, training and fund raising for 27 years. "My most meaningful volunteer work, it changed my life", her words. Carol worked at Lutheran Brotherhood, Northside Settlement Services, and Head Start. Preceded in death by parents, son David, grandson Jeffrey, stepbrother Charles Sather, dear husband Ralph in 2017, married for 66 years. Survived by sons Curt, Alan (Susan), Wayne (Therese), Joel (Karen), daughter in love Marcia Logeais: grandchildren Mary Buszin (Justin), Katie Hissam (Eric), Reilly Ausman, Justin Logeais (Amber), Jeremy Logeais, Delvina Logeais: great grandchildren Parker, Austin, Christian, Amelia, Emma, Adelyn, Mason, Colin, Madelyn, Henry and Hadley: sisters in law Karen Sommers, Eva Jahnke, Janet Berg (Bruce), Niece Lual Leistiko (Ron) Isle, MN, cousins Meredith Jelinek of Duvall, WA, dear goddaughter Mary Hirata (Mike)of DuVall, WA., Hirata Family all of Washington state, dear friend and co-hort Barbara Johnson and many grandnieces & nephews. Carol resided at Presbyterian Homes Farmstead since 2019. Memorials to The Salvation Army.
