Carlos Fulvio Orezzoli

Carlos Fulvio Orezzoli was born February 8, 1940 in Ica, Peru, South America. He passed away Friday afternoon April 3, 2015 at Regions Hospital, St Paul, MN following a short illness. He is survived by his wife Carol, three wonderful daughters, Angie (Jeff) Sanders, Carla (fiancé Shane Braby) Orezzoli, Terri (Mike Reschke) Orezzoli-Reschke and special grandchildren Emily, Nathan, Olivia, Colton, and Cora. Brothers, Jaime, Ronnie, Raul and sister Norma and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, brother-in-law Paco, and sister-in-law Nora. Carlos was born in Ica, Peru, South America to Carlos and Tula (Cerna) Orezzoli. He attended school and two years of college in Lima, Peru studying Engineering. In 1960 he moved to New York City to continue his education. He soon started working instead. In 1962 he met Carol Pullen, daughter of Floyd & Leona (Meyer) Pullen from Rolfe, IA and they married two years later. Three daughters soon joined them. Carlos worked as a waiter in several different famous restaurants, the last being the one at LaGuardia Airport. In 1969 he began his career in computers. In 1970 the family moved from New York City to Iowa. For a short time he did bartending and purchased an H&R Block franchise. In a short time he was employed as a computer programmer for Land O’Lakes in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After a few years, H&R Block was sold and he continued working his way up in the computer field. In 1984 he accepted a computer analysis job with Land O’Lakes in St Paul, MN where he worked until he retired in the late ‘90’s. After seven months of retirement, he went to work for a Temp Agency. This led to a job with Nash Finch. After a short time there, he accepted a job at Wells Fargo as an Internal Auditor where he continued to work until his death. Carlos enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and precious grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling, reading, watching movies and soccer games. Carlos will be missed tremendously by all his family and friends. Memorial services will be held Friday April 10, 2015 at 2 PM with a visitation one hour before at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, 2901 Johnson St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Lung Association in Minnesota, 490 Concordia Avenue, St Paul, MN 55103.
