Caitlin Margaret Kruse

Caitlin Margaret Kruse joined this amazing life on April 5th, 1995, to John and Susie Kruse in Minneapolis, MN. She was accompanied by her twin sister Courtney, joining their older sister Kristen. The Kruse family was completed when Kelly arrived in 1997. Caitlin lived 28 incredible years and passed away on February 6th, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of joy, laughter, andadventure. Caitlin enjoyed her childhood in the Wynnfield neighborhood in Eden Prairie, MN. She loved dancing, playing night games, celebrating holidays, jumping on the trampoline, and having sleepovers with her friends. Caitlin graduated from Eden Prairie High School in 2013. She then went to St. Cloud State, where she studied Business Management and Human Resources. Caitlin was a social butterfly, and such a leader that she became the President of her sorority, Kappa Phi Omega. After college, Caitlin began her successful career in talent acquisition for Endeavor Air. She supported others to find their professional passions as she was living hers. Quoting Caitlin's instagram post from 2019, "I have the coolest job on the planet." She was a passionate advocate for Women in Aviation, a leader in the workforce, and a role model to her colleagues. Endeavor recognized Caitlin's talents and contributions by selecting her as a 2021 award winner for Endeavor's Elite (earning her a plaque with her name on a plane). She loved being part of the jet-set mentality. Caitlin's enthusiasm for travel spilled over from her career into her personal hobby. She traveled the world visiting Japan, South Africa, Italy, Iceland, Netherlands, France, Portugal, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and many other destinations. When Caitlin ran out of her favorite perfume, she would jump on a plane to Paris, France. She shared her travels with her parents, sisters, friends, and boyfriend, John. In 2020, Caitlin met the love of her life, John DiGiorno. Together they enjoyed boating on the Mississippi River to watch planes, cooking risotto, and spending time with their friends. John and Caitlin would push each other to try new things on their adventures. They lived their lives to the fullest and they were the missing piece to each other's puzzle. Caitlin lit up every room she walked into. She made it a point to make everyone feel welcomed, valued, and included. Caitlin will be dearly missed by Wynnfield, Eden Prairie, North Loop, and Endeavor communities. She is survived by her mother and father, John and Susie Kruse; her boyfriend, John DiGiorno; her 3 sisters: Kristen Kruse (Blake Uecker), Courtney Kruse, and Kelly Kruse; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandmother (Margaret Kruse). She is preceded in death by her Grandfather and Grandmother (Robert and Elizabeth Segner) and Grandfather (Paul Kruse). Please come honor Caitlin's life with us on Tuesday, February 13th at Washburn-McReavy (7625 Mitchell Road Eden Prairie, MN 55344). Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm followed by acelebration of Caitlin's life where we will gather to share stories and memories.
