Beverly Lundeen

Lundeen, Beverly Ann 88 years old passed away peacefully on June 26, 2021 at Presbyterian Homes. She was born to parents Paul and Frances Williams and was raised in Minneapolis where she graduated from Minnehaha Academy. She attended Augsburg College. On September 7, 1957 she was united in marriage to Walter W. Lundeen. They were blessed with three children and they raised their family in Richfield, MN and later moved to Burnsville, MN. Beverly enjoyed spending time at the lake cabin and up the North Shore. She loved to read and sew. She loved her family and friends deeply. Gathering with them (especially with a cup of hot coffee) brought her great joy. Over the years, Beverly volunteered as a speaker for the American Diabetes Association, as an ESL instructor and in various capacities at her church. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother as well as a joyful and wise follower of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Beverly will remain in the hearts of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by daughters Nancy (Steve) Gibson of Duluth and Sara (Jon) Lundwall of Hatton, ND: son David (Kristen) Lundeen of Woodbury; grandchildren Ben, Eric, Hannah, Tanner, Brita and Mitchell. She is also survived by her brother, Gordon and many special nieces, nephews and their families. The family extends a special thank you to the exceptional caregivers at Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington. Their loving, compassionate, and dignified care, especially during the Covid months, has been much appreciated. Thank you also to the wise and supportive Optage Hospice Team. Per Beverly's wishes, her body was donated to the University of Minnesota Medical School's Anatomy Bequest Program. Beverly's loving husband, Walter W. Lundeen passed away on December 20, 2020 and because of Covid his memorial service was postponed. On Tuesday, July 13 there will be a joint memorial service for both Beverly and Walter at 2:00 pm with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at Bloomington Covenant Church 10150 Xerxes Ave. S., Bloomington.
