Beverly Jean Frye of St. Paul, MN With deep sadness, we announce the death of our beloved Mother, Grandmother & Great Grandmother, Beverly Jean Frye, on April 19 at age 89. Beverly passed away peacefully of natural causes, surrounded by love. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, steadfast faith and generosity. Preceded in death by Husband, Harvey (Nik) Sr., Sons, David & John, Grandson Ronnie, Sister Alice, Aunts Lucille & Hazel and Parents, Ella & James Stover. Survived by her Children: Harvey (Nik) Jr., Jean, Jim and Bill. Daughters in law: Marcy, Cathy, Beth, Terri & Son in law, Chris. Grandchildren: Briana (& David), Nicolas (& Meagan), Michael, Sarah, Johnny, Kristen, Anna, Emily, Aaron, David (& Jennifer), Rose, Sara, Jameson, Jason (& Megan), Travis (& Laura), Cole, Logan, Will (& Julia), Wendy, Tina, Melissa and Kristina. Great Grandchildren: Breckyn, Layla, Emily, Kayla, Andrew, Tony, Sarah, Maddox, Grady, Penelope, Abigail, Claire, Murphy, George, Dylan, Mariah, Jordan and Hailey. Born and raised in St. Paul, Beverly was known for her beautiful smile and glorious red hair! She graduated Wilson High School where she also met and fell in love with Harvey (aka Nik) Frye. Following their graduations, they soon married and began their lives together in Southern California where Harvey was then stationed, in the Marine Corps. They spent the next 30 years raising six children and making many sacrifices due Harvey's numerous deployments and transfers. In fact, they moved over 15 times in their first 22 years of marriage! Eventually they returned to the Twin Cities to reunite with extended family. Later, Beverly became a bookkeeper for the family glass businesses. She was a longtime cancer and stroke survivor and Harvey was one of the longest surviving kidney transplant recipients on record. The Frye's overcame many trials and tribulations together and they enjoyed many happy times as well. They had been married for 52 years when Harvey passed away suddenly in 2002. Life was never quite the same for Beverly, but she persevered and lived many more years to endure the loss of two sons and witness grandchildren's weddings and many great grandbabies born. Theirs was a true love story and we find great peace and solace in knowing they are now lovingly reunited...we miss them both dearly and will keep them in our hearts...until we meet again...A Celebration of Life for Beverly will be held sometime in the future.
