Betty A. Silber (nee Beadell)

It is with heavy hearts but deep gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Betty Silber (nee Beadell), a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Betty left this world peacefully on June 17, 2026, at the age of 100, surrounded by the love and warmth of her family in Roseville, Minnesota. Born to Edwin and Elinora Beadell on November 9, 1925, in Austin, Minnesota. Betty embodied grace, kindness, and resilience. Her journey through life was marked by a profound commitment to her family and her faith. She was the devoted wife of 62 years to John Silber, whom she married in 1946. Together, they built a loving home filled with laughter and cherished memories. Betty's legacy is carried forward by her surviving family members, including her daughter-in-law, Janey Just, and sons: Timothy (Kathy), Ned (Jayme), and Ben (Ikuko),. Her heart also found joy in her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, every one of whom she adored deeply. Betty was predeceased by husband John, her beloved sons, Mark, Andrew, and Peter, whom she now joins in eternal peace. As a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Bloomington for many years, Betty's life was a testament to her unwavering faith and her dedication to serving others. Her selfless love and kindness resonated with all who had the privilege of knowing her. Betty was a woman of many talents and interests. An avid reader, she found adventure and solace in the pages of countless books. Her artistry as a professional seamstress was renowned, with her craftsmanship sought by many well into her late 90s. Her hands told stories through every stitch, creating garments that were not just worn but treasured. In addition to being an exceptional homemaker, Betty also was employed by National Computer Systems as a consultant for testing services to psychologists. She also worked as a certified gemologist for Dayton Hudson Jewelers in Edina. Those who knew Betty will remember her as a nurturing spirit, a beloved matriarch who lived a life of quiet strength and compassion. She was a beacon of love and a source of unwavering support for her family and friends. In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations may be made in Betty's memory to St. Michael's Lutheran Church, a place that held a special significance in her heart and her life's journey. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of New Perspective Senior Living in Roseville for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Betty in her final years. As we bid farewell to Betty, we celebrate her remarkable century of life and cherish the memories that will forever live in our hearts. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love of those who passed before her and in the glorious presence of her Savior.
