Beth Charice Barnett

Beth Barnett, 65, of Buffalo, Minnesota, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle of more than ten years with ovarian cancer. Beth was born in Grundy Center, Iowa, to Eric and Carolyn Biedermann. She graduated from Wartburg College with a degree in Christian Elementary Education. Although she valued her education, Beth believed her greatest calling was to be a devoted wife and mother-a role she embraced with unwavering love, grace, and joy throughout her life. In 1984, Beth married the love of her life and soulmate, Rich Barnett. Together they built a life filled with adventure, faith, and deep commitment, moving several times throughout the United States and spending nearly six wonderful years in the United Kingdom. Beth lived by the belief to "bloom where you are planted," and wherever life took her, she cultivated lasting friendships and became a blessing to those around her. Family was the center of Beth's life. She found immense joy in her children and treasured every moment spent with her two beloved granddaughters, Emma and Eden, who brought her endless pride and happiness. Beth's Christian faith was the foundation of her life. She faithfully led and participated in numerous Bible studies and viewed even her cancer diagnosis as an opportunity to encourage, educate, and share her faith with others. Her quiet strength, compassion, and steadfast trust in God inspired everyone who knew her. Beth also found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved watching sports-especially basketball-and spent many happy hours in her craft room creating embroidered gifts. An accomplished baker, she delighted in making treats for family and friends and proudly carried on her late mother-in-law's cherished tradition of baking homemade cinnamon rolls for her family. These acts of love, shared around the table and through thoughtful handmade gifts, reflected Beth's generous heart. Whether through a kind word, a savory treat, or a simple act of service, she had a remarkable gift for making others feel loved and valued. She truly was a blessing to everyone whose life she touched. Beth is survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard Barnett; her daughter, Brittanie Grafft (Reese) of Minnetrista, Minnesota; her son, Dane Barnett (John Amalfitano) of Denver, Colorado; her granddaughters, Emma and Eden Grafft; her parents, Eric and Carolyn Biedermann of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; her brother, Rick Biedermann (Nancy) of Hudson, Wisconsin; and her brother, Tom Biedermann (Antonio Vadillo) of Madrid, Spain, along with many extended family members and dear friends. Beth's legacy is one of unwavering faith, selfless love and enduring friendships. Her life was a beautiful example of trusting God and loving deeply. She will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A Celebration of Life service will be held July 24th, 1pm at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 7150 Rolling Acres Road, Victoria, MN 55386.
