Barbara Ann Keup

Barbara A. (Weston) Keup, 76, of 1011 Clover Leaf Parkway NE, Blaine, MN died Thursday, September 15, 2016, in Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, MN. She was born November 30, 1939 in Superior, WI and resided there for 72 years. For the past 4 years she lived in Anoka County, MN, to be near her daughter. She was married to Richard John Keup on March 17, 1959 and celebrated 44 years of marriage at the time of his death in 2003. She was a dedicated homemaker that was never employed outside of her home. She currently attended Riverdale Assembly of God in Andover, MN, was a member of Central Assembly of God in Superior, WI, the St. James Prayer Group, Son Seekers and was very active in Christian Ministry, having worked many years with nursing home and prison ministries. She loved music and spent hours listening to her CD's, watching the Polka Party on TV with friends where she lived, playing the accordion and singing . She participated in a music ministry at CAG. Recently, she became a part of a Christian choir that was formed at the apartment building she lived at. She loved the Lord Jesus deeply and it was her mission to spread His word of Love to as many as she could reach. She is remembered by many as loving, gentle, kind, caring and a good friend, who was always smiling and spreading happiness to those around her. She is survived by a daughter, Lori (Michael) Zinmer, Anoka, MN, a son, Bradley (Karen) Keup of Austin, Texas, four Grandchildren, Melissa (Chris) Buesgen, Leah Kotera, Joshua Keup and Jacob Keup, three Great-Grandchildren, Brenden Kotera, Addisyn Buesgen and Rhylee Buesgen. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard, her parents, Edward and Regina Weston and a special canine friend, Snoopy. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 in the Riverdale Assembly of God Church at 3210 Bunker Lake Boulevard NW, Andover, MN 55304. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Rick Santiago. A luncheon will follow the service in the fellowship hall. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Superior, WI at a later date and to be announced.
