Aurea Calibo Lungay March 11,1955 - October 11,2024 With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Aurea Calibo Lungay( popularly know as Bebie) is a true torch of life who touched countless hearts with her vibrance, warmth, and boundless generosity. She brought light into every room she entered, her bubbly spirit and infectious joy leaving lasting impressions on everyone she met. A deeply prayerful woman, Aurea spent her days praying not only for her family but for anyone who needed strength, guidance, or peace. Her optimism was unwavering, and she believed in seeing the good in everything and everyone. Aurea had a special way of creating meaningful connections with those around her. People who felt lost, lonely, or in need of a motherly figure found solace in her presence. She embraced introverts, welcomed the emotionally weary, and provided a safe harbor for anyone in need. Her gift of empathy was truly remarkable, and she became a cherished "mom" to many beyond her own children. Her home was always filled with the scent of pastries and Filipino food, the sound of laughter, and the joy of shared meals. She loved sweets and was known for her love of adventure, always embrace life's experiences with a resounding "yes." She brought people together through food, laughter, dancing, and singing with her go-to karaoke song "Jambalaya", uniting loved ones and strangers alike in joyful celebration. In her own family, she was the embodiment of tender love and care. She was a natural healer. Her heart was always open, and she worked to keep peace and harmony within the family, putting herself out there to make sure everyone felt welcome and loved. Aurea's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, in the lives she touched, and in the love she so generously gave. Though she has left this world, her legacy of kindness, empathy, and joy will continue to inspire us all. She will be profoundly missed, but her light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, dear mama Bebie. Your love, laughter, and prayers will forever guide us.
