Anne Marie Flynn

In memory of Anne M Flynn Born 11-18-47 called to heaven 2-17-24. In her 76 years she was one of the most charismatic go-getters ever, despite her physical limitations. Everyone who met her loved her. Preceded in death by her parents Ruby and Lawrence Doucette, sister Judy (Doug) Perham,brother Gene (Vonnie) Doucette and son-in-law Robert Banta. Survived by her husband of 54-years, Leland Flynn, daughter Shauna Banta, son David Flynn-Pigeon and his husband Tony Flynn-Pigeon, son Steven Flynn and his wife Tonya Flynn and her granddaughters Ruby Flynn and Rhiannon Flynn. Anne loved doing Bible Studies with Sojourn, learning The Word especially the Old Testament,and just having conversations with Jesus. She supported missions and was always wanting to go but never was physically able to go herself. She volunteered at church until she could barely walk. Many years ago, she made a friend named Jim who is doing a wonderful ministry working with people who were far from God, and they had regular conversation and they supported each other through prayer and encouragement. She also was on every prayer chain she could so that she could take on the evils of this world from her recliner with her picture Jesus in front of her, a Prayer Cross in hand and her "I can only imagine" lanyard at her side. She loved seeing her granddaughters grow up into "beautiful young ladies," going to and watching them in their activities whenever she could. She enjoyed being Queen Anne and leading a quirky, fun, and fantastic group of red hat ladies called The H'atittudes. They knew how to have fun and they knew when to team up and help others in need. She knew that her memory was failing and played games and did word searches, puzzles and more to help her mind, and she never wanted to burden anyone, so she cleaned the entire house before she passed away and was found with a crossword puzzle in front of her and a pencil in her hand. A Celebration of Life to be held Saturday February 24, 2024, at Faithbrook Church 14100 ElmCreek Road Dayton, MN 55369 with visitation at 1:00 PM and service 2:00 PM
